Safety Standards & Compliance
On their own, hi vis trousers are classed as ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Class E — supplemental garments that raise the wearer to Class 3 when worn with a Class 2 or Class 3 top. Under EN ISO 20471 trousers with two reflective bands per leg typically reach Class 1, or Class 2 in larger sizes and bib designs, and combined with a Class 2 jacket the outfit can be rated Class 3.

On their own they are Class E (ANSI). Worn with a Class 2 or Class 3 top, the outfit is Class 3.
Dark or fluorescent fabric?
Fluorescent adds daytime visibility; dark fabric with tape hides dirt and suits uniform programmes.
Can I wash them industrially?
